About $475,000 has been awarded to complete design and construction of Phase 1 of the Boring Station Trailhead Park. This funding is from Oregon Parks and Recreation Department grants. Additional funding will be provided by a variety of local sources, including Clackamas County Parks’ share of the 2006 Metro Natural Areas Bond Measure and donated labor, equipment, and volunteer time.
An additional $1.2 million in local and grant funds have been awarded for the design and construction of the Springwater Corridor between Rugg Road and Boring. These are federal Transportation Enhancement funds that are awarded and administered through the Oregon Department of Transportation.
